If you don't want to be tempted with one of the most fantastic organs you could ever put your fingers on, please don't read any further! Since the very first time I sat down at this organ, I have had a hard time getting my other work done. Somehow, it seems to keep drawing me to it.
Accompaniments of hundreds of your favorite songs are programmed into this organ. Just push the button, your song starts, and all you have to do is play the melody. You can literally play this thing with two fingers and sound like a virtuoso! If you love patriotic music, this organ has God Bless America, The Battle Hymn of the Republic, America the Beautiful (and more) loaded into it. The accompaniments will give you goosebumps! Old favorites, Hymns, Broadway, Disney songs, Latin, Country, Pop/Rock, Polkas, Dixieland band.......good grief, you can't list all of the songs/rhythms on one page.
The sound effects on this organ are unbelievable! On "She'll be Comin Round the Mountain", the song begins with the train chugging down the tracks, gradually speeding up, blowing her whistle. There are Christmas songs with bells jingling, etc. Until you have heard one of these top of the line Lowrey organs, you just can't imagine what you have been missing. Check out these photos. The cabinetry alone is beautiful to gaze at and features a roll-top cover. She's finely crafted from cherry wood with lots of attention given to detail. Both the music rack and the backrest on the bench have fancy, burled accents. There are two separate lighted music racks. The main rack is situated a little higher and a bit farther back, while the secondary rack is lower and a bit closer (perfect for folks with bifocals or trifocals). Note, the lower rack still has the factory protective cover on it. When you pull out the lower rack, the lights on the top rack automatically shut off and the bottom rack's lights turn on. Push the lower rack in and the lights on the upper rack turn on. Lowrey has thought of about everything!
The bench can use a paragraph all to itself. I can't imagine what it costs to build a bench this nice! I'm not sure whether the bench top is genuine leather or not, but it sure appears to be. With the adjustable backrests, you can sit at this bench comfortably for hours (believe me, I've already done it in the few short days we've had this machine)! At first glance, it doesn't look like the bench has music storage. Voila, there just happens to be finely crafted, smooth gliding drawers that come out of each end of the bench. These are super handy for music storage, microphone and remote control (yes, this organ even has a remote control) storage, etc.
This baby has plenty of P.O.W.E.R.!! 430 watts, to be exact. It will shake the room with its front and side speakers. You can send the sound out the sides of the cabinet, direct it straight out the front toward you, or both! Even at low volume, this organ produces a very high-quality tone, due to its powerful speaker system. Where do you stop listing stuff??? There are TONS of sounds and sound effects, a microphone jack (so you can do karaoke), you can record on it, there is a separate light for the pedals, and the ABC's will light up above each keyboard if you don't know where the notes are. The organ will even put on a light show if you get bored! Trust me, you don't have to worry about getting bored with this Lowrey Grand Royale organ!! However, you may have to polish up on your time management skills (or you won't get anything else done around your house or in the yard).
