The ornately carved cabinet is mahogany, finished in a warm brown tone. The original (extremely hard to find) matching duet bench is included. Professionally restored within the last 10 years, this piano has a fresh start on life. The restoration included new strings & pinblock, new hammers, shanks, flanges and whippens. The piano has been meticulously regulated and voiced to concert quality. The highly decorative cabinet was stripped and refinished. All of the brass hardware was polished. Both the soundboard and fallboard decals were replaced with vintage decals. The original soundboard was retained to maintain the absolutely captivating tone of this fine instrument.
