This Yamaha M500 Sheraton sports a mahogany cabinet with tapered, fluted legs. Built recently in 1998, this piano is still young in "piano years". It has a full tone and smooth, swift action. The Yamaha M500 series was very consistent and (although the cabinets could vary quite a bit through the lineup), the sound of the pianos and ease of playing them was/is very similar from one M500 to the next.
