1976 Kimball artist console

The Artist Console was Kimball's top-of-the-line model in 1976.

Wow, 1976....that was the year of our country's Bicentennial! That brings back lots of memories. Male friends and relatives growing their beards out to celebrate this special event. Folks dressing up in their red, white and blue. Parades, fireworks, laughter, homemade ice cream. Good times.

Sorry, I got sidetracked. Anyway, the Artist Console was a quality (yet affordable) piano. This pecan model has a nice amount of detail with octagonal legs, a cutout music rack, etc. It is an excellent instrument for your budding pianist.
