Here is a 6'1" Yamaha grand piano in the traditional satin ebony cabinet, complete with a factory-installed Disklavier player system! This model was built for the U.S. market and is not a "grey market" piano. You can confirm this by the serial number on the Yamaha website.
Built in 1996, this is a one owner instrument that has seen low usage. You really can't tell this piano from a brand new model as it is super clean. The original duet bench is included and is currently full of disks, the owner's manual and the remote control.
The Disklavier will play the piano with full background accompaniment. Listen to a jazz piece and the string bass is plunking away as the sax is grooving to the beat of the drums. Put in a Dixieland disk and you'll enjoy the clarinets playing along with trombones and trumpets while the tuba is happily bopping out the bass line.
Also, you can record your own music and the piano will play it back for you! You can even edit your recording, change the tempo or transpose your tune into a different key....it is pretty cool! This is a wonderful learning tool, especially when you are having a tough time playing both hands together at the same time on a new piece you are working up. For instance, you can record your left hand and have the Disklavier play back that part while you practice your right hand along with it. If you need to practice a bit more slowly, just push the button and slow down the tempo....TA DA!!!
You could purchase a brand new DC3 and pay well over $50K (new MSRP is just under $70K)....or you can get this "like new" one from us and save yourself a bundle of money! Considering a new Yamaha C3 with NO player system lists for around $45,000, it isn't hard to see the value in this piano at under $25K!!
