This dark oak Yamaha console is a great instrument for someone who is an aspiring piano student but doesn't have an instrument to inspire them! Many families have that old heirloom upright piano that has been passed down a few generations....and is just not a quality instrument anymore. Sometimes it is difficult to let go of the past, but (if you don't want your kids to get frustrated and quit their piano lessons) you might need to consider upgrading to a piano that will make beautiful music, all the keys work, the pedals don't flop around, and will stay in tune. Just sayin'.
After doing this gig for 32+ years, I have seen people who spend lots of time and money taking their kids to piano lessons....and the piano the kids go home to practice on plays three separate notes on one key! This makes for a serious issue when your young student has a difficult time figuring out what note each key is supposed to sound like. Anyway, this probably should go in a blog instead of a piano description. :)
The long and short. This piano plays and sounds really nice. It's affordable. It should inspire you or your child to enjoy making music! Voila!
