Here is another very clean Yamaha console piano. This model M402 oak piano was built in 1988 right here in the U.S.A....Thomaston, Georgia to be exact. Whether you are a seasoned pianist or a novice, you will appreciate the beautiful tone this instrument has and you'll enjoy the smooth, easy touch of the keys.
When this piano was manufactured, there was the M300 series and the M400 series of Yamaha console pianos. The M300s were simpler cabinets with screw on legs, less-fancy music racks, etc. The M400s (like this M402) had a more substantial solid leg, a decorative music rack, and an overall nicer cabinet with more moulding, etc.
This piano has a mute pedal that easily locks in place so you can play quietly when needed. The matching bench is very solid and has plenty of storage space. In short, this piano has everything a piano requires to put a smile on your face.
Good sound, good looks, friendly price.
