2000 Baldwin 248A professional upright, walnut

WOW! Here is a pretty one!

This "Made in the USA" Baldwin professional upright piano is quite the instrument, as well as a gorgeous piece of cabinetry! Manufactured in 2000, this is one of the last Baldwin pianos you could find that was built in the U.S.A. 

The craftsmanship that went into this piano is commendable. From the detail in the burled oval in the music rack, to the massive support posts and oversized brass wheels, this piano has lots going for it. When you understand that a piano has nearly 20 tons of pressure on it when tuned to A440 concert pitch, you begin to see why the huge support posts can ensure the tuning stability of your instrument. Try moving an instrument this size across the room....not very easy; however, this piano has ginormous solid brass casters and I moved this thing 80 feet from our shop to the showroom with very little effort. Frankly, I was surprised how easily it was. 

If you don't have the floorspace for a grand piano but still want a full and robust sound, then this 49" Baldwin professional upright just might be the answer for you!! Don't think about it too long...these rarely come around.

You can't get a new Baldwin like this anymore. If you were to get a similar American-made Steinway in walnut, it would set you back around $40,000 (ouch). You can own this world-class instrument for a teeny tiny fraction of that.

It really is okay to grin real big when you think about how much you saved!
