This EXTREMELY beautiful burled walnut George P. Bent "CROWN" upright piano is quite the display of fine craftsmanship! In the early 1900's, there were some massive walnut trees here in the United States; however, a majority of them have since been harvested and you rarely find this quality of burled walnut any longer.
Built in 1909 in Chicago, this 4 pedal "Orchestral Piano" includes one extra pedal with a mandolin attachment, giving the piano a honky-tonk sound. For this period, it was a novelty that added a new and exciting tone to the piano.
Check out all of the detail on the cabinet. Three heavily carved legs on each end, fancy moulding throughout...so much personality!
Right now, our store is jam-packed full and we need to shove 5 or 10 pianos out the door so we have room to breathe. Take advantage of our current "overstocked situation" and bring this masterpiece into your home!
