This Yamaha MX1 Disklavier is a player piano built on the ever-so-popular Yamaha U1 "chassis". It was manufactured in 1999 and the polished ebony cabinet and entire piano are all in beautiful condition! At 48" tall, this piano has long strings and a large soundboard which provide a full, luscious tone. 

The remote-controlled Disklavier can be played in piano-only mode or with full background accompaniment. There are two powered speakers that pump out the sound when played in the accompaniment mode. 

The piano features a "soft close" fallboard, meaning the keycover closes at a slow pace, so as not to smash little fingers that might be enjoying the piano. There is also a matching bench.
