In our 40 years in the piano biz, this is absolutely our best-selling used piano (and we sold tons of new P22's as well). As a matter of fact, we had a tuner who (when asked by folks what kind of piano they should buy) would just tell them to go find a used Yamaha P22....because he tuned them regularly and knew what good instruments they are! Manhattan, Kansas is next to the Fort Riley Army base and lots of soldiers move in and out of the area. We are also home to Kansas State University...similarly, lots of people moving to and from here. This being said, we sell scads of this model because they have toe blocks (braces on the legs), double rubber casters on all four corners (they don't tear up hard floors, carpet, tile, etc), and they are just rock-solid instruments!! We also sell these to lots of schools and Sunday School classrooms. 

You will also enjoy a duet bench for those times you want to share some music with your child or grandchild. The locking cabinet and keycover also come in handy in the event you need to keep the piano "off limits" to the rowdy neighbor kids. ;)
