What an enormous, wonderful sound! This Yamaha C7 Conservatory Grand is one phenomenal instrument! When I sit down and play this thing, it is difficult to pull myself away from it. It inspires me. It brings out new chords I've never played before. It makes me wonder if I should swap it out with the piano I have in my home. Hmmmmmm.
There are many full 9' concert grands that I don't think would hold a candle to this piano. You get on overwhelming amount of POWER from this beast....it just growls! Funny thing is, if you want to play softly, it still handles the task. The dynamic range on this instrument is incredible.
Eventhough the year of manufacture was 1981, we are confident you can expect another 40 or 50 years of reliable service (and wonderful music) from all 7'4" of this piano. It still has oh-so-much music in it! To be fair, there are a few small imperfections in the cabinet, but I suppose most 45 year olds are beginning to get a few wrinkles and an occasional gray hair. ;)
We've included an artist bench for your comfort....because you are going to want to spend days on end playing this piano. The touch is smooooooth. Caress the keys and it will sing to you. It will move you.
There is a reason a new Yamaha C7X lists for over $90thousand. They are great pianos! In the past 40 years, we have sold many, many pianos for $50K to $100K that were not nearly the instrument this one is.
If you have been looking at new baby grands that don't really excite you (but still cost $20K to $40K), you NEED TO PLAY THIS PIANO!!! Seriously, it will be no contest at all.
